Khadi cotton – The coarseness of the cloth led Gandhi to call it khadi. The cloth is made from cotton, but it may also include silk or wool, which are all spun into yarn on a charkha. It is a versatile fabric that remains cool in summer and warm in winter.
This piece specifically celebrates the Sahaj Path (Bengali: সহজ পাঠ) which is a Bengali language learning book, written by Rabindranath Tagore. In two of its edition this book describes the basics of Bengali language and literature and this saree of ours embodies the the language learning scripture and and imagery with the art form of Hand Block Printing and Applique Work all done by our artisians.
We as team Saamragi are in love with the idea ad weave of the saree and cannot wait to drape all of you in our beloved piece.

The saree is breathtaking at a glance and the quality of the saree is to die for. To pick up our cultural heritage onto a saree and showcase it so beautifully, is truly an art and Saamragi has been able to deliver it with panache and finesse. A truly remarkable piece of memorabilia and an essential piece for a Bengali wardrobe
